Lifeline Language Services will never share with, nor sell or hire out to, any third party any individual personal information provided to us without the owner's prior permission or unless ordered to do so by a court of law. Information you provide to us is held within secure premises and is available only to our employees or, where required by the assignment, to the necessary partners.
"Partners" refers simply to service providers who are not direct employees of ours. Where you ask us, for example, to translate a document we may need to use one or more such partner(s). Any partner used will be professionally registered and will adhere to professional standards of data confidentiality, enforced by a legally-binding confidentiality agreement between them and ourselves. That means we trust them just the same as we would trust our own in-house team.
Wikipedia describes a cookie, also known as an HTTP cookie, web cookie, or browser cookie, as "usually a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user's web browser while a user is browsing a website." There's lots more information on the Wikipedia page and if you'd like to know more that's a great place to look.
